At least two people have been shot dead in Mogadishu today amid increased killings of Mogadishu residents in this blessed month of Ramadan.
Husen Gedi Jimale, a clan elder has been shot and killed by unidentified gunmen in his house in Ali-hire location of Howlwadaag district in Mogadishu. The assailants managed to escape the scene after the attack.
Meanwhile, a local government soldier was shot dead by a tricycle motor driver in Mogadishu’s Hamar-weyne district.
An electoral delegate involved in the country’s recent parliamentary elections of the lower and upper house was shot dead yesterday at Wadajir district in Mogadishu.
No perpetrator is yet to be hold accountable despite increased killings in Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital.
Government workers, soldiers, electoral parliamentary delegates, civilians and youths have been killed in Mogadishu since the beginning of Ramadaan.
